Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
The aim of this goal is to build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and support innovation. Access to reliable systems and modern technologies remain uneven across regions, which limits further development. Household access to the internet and electricity demonstrates the differences in development across the regions. Additionally, the percentage of households with a cellphone or computer illustrates the disparities in access to communication technologies. These indicators show the importance of continued investment in innovation and infrastructure to promote long-term economic growth.
