The World Team Project: Sustainable Solutions Oceans Opportunities & Small Island States
SOS-IS is preparing to work with Small Island Developing States by actively exploring the best island location to offer services on the ground with renewable energy projects and show community transformation. This includes alternative transportation, water, and sustainable building solutions. The initiative focuses on learning from the native culture and sharing innovation and technology. World Team plans to demonstrate change by living in balance with the planets resources to respect, preserve and restore the islands oceans and common home, with teamwork! On small or remote islands, and in the ocean, the World Team project creates living experiential Eco observatories of human capital, to bring in resources and demonstrate solutions for a renewable future. The goals of the initiative includes building renewable energy microgrids toward energy independence, clean water and power, biodiversity protection, and demonstration of leading technology. This partnership contributes to scientific research, data collection, preservation; an experiential opportunity for ongoing education. Ocean cleanup, preservation, water use, net zero buildings, sustainable transportation, marine protection areas, artisanal fishing and related policy. SOS-IS creates jobs, start up new and alternative systems that lead to transformation of the oceans and islands. Partnership programs work towards innovative solutions.
