I am a PhD candidate at Radboud University. My research focuses on the effectiveness of voluntary climate initiatives in transnational, subnational and non-state contexts. More specifically, I investigate cooperative climate initiatives that seek to orchestrate and mobilise climate action by non-state actors such as subnational governments, corporations, and financial institutions, focusing on how the functions of these initiatives and the networked interactions among them and their members impact their potential to catalyse more ambitious climate action and progress in implementation.
