Climate Action Accelerator
Climate Action Accelerator is a not-for-profit initiative based in Geneva that aims to mobilize a critical mass of high-impact social organizations—particularly in the humanitarian aid, health, and education sectors—to scale up climate solutions and radically transform their practices, thereby contributing to tipping entire sectors of society towards low-carbon, resilient, and sustainable models. Its mission is to empower these organizations to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions by at least half by 2030, in alignment with the Paris Agreement, while enhancing their resilience through access to a specialized knowledge and resource hub. Additionally, the initiative encourages these entities to become champions of change within their own ecosystems, influencing peers and generating a ripple effect that accelerates the adoption of climate solutions globally. Acting as a radical catalyst for change, Climate Action Accelerator removes barriers to climate action, shares solutions as a universal common good, and fosters open collaboration across sectors, all under the principle that urgency and collective action are essential to keep global warming below 2°C and ensure a safe and just future for humanity.
